About Nextdoor

What is the Nextdoor neighbor?

Nextdoor is a private social network for neighborhoods — It has quickly become the best way to stay in the know about what’s going on in your neighborhood. Nextdoor has over 146,000 neighborhoods across the country in use and counting.

If you’re familiar with this technology, you know it is a great tool for keeping in contact with your neighbors. With a smartphone app (for iPhone or Androidfree), and by opening an account at Nextdoor, you can connect with your community better than emails and websites can. You can:

  • Find help for your property or learn about an upcoming community party or meeting.
  • Report issues and start conversations that immediately share ideas your neighbors and the CCE community — pool, front entrance, a bear (or dog) on the loose, etc.
  • Post classifieds to sell things, ask for things, or borrow items.
  • Get recommendations for services — recommend (or warn) neighbors about electricians, plumbers, etc.
  • Get to know your neighbors – share recipes, get-togethers, etc.

All of this is free, and exclusive to the Cloud Country Estates community.

Get Started

Here’s how to get started.

#1: SIGN-UP:

You can sign up by downloading the app (iPhone or Android) or visiting nextdoor.com.
(If you already have a Nextdoor account, you will need to change your neighborhood to Nextdoor – CCE, or create a different email for CCE.)

#2: DOWNLOAD THE APP:

The mobile app is THE BEST way to use Nextdoor, so if you opened your account from a computer, you’ll still want to also download the Nextdoor app and sign in there. That way you get notifications straight to your mobile phone.

#3: ASK FOR HELP:

If you’re having trouble getting onto Nextdoor, or need help setting up your account, please contact Mark Harlien (210)549-7987 or email him at mark@harlien.com.
